Logging is that the process of cutting, processing, and moving trees to a location for transport. It’s going to include skidding, on-site processing, and loading of trees or logs onto trucks or skeleton cars.
Logging is that the beginning of a supply chain that gives staple for several products societies worldwide use for housing, construction, energy, and consumer paper products. Logging systems also are wont to manage forests, reduce the danger of wildfires, and restore ecosystem functions.
In forestry, the term logging is usually used narrowly to explain the logistics of moving wood from the stump to somewhere outside the forest, usually a sawmill or a lumber yard. However, in common usage, the term may cover various forestry or silviculture activities.
