Red Oak

One of the widespread oaks so far, red oaks grow more speedily and heavily as compared to the white oaks. The wood of red oak is white to light brown whereas the center of the oak is pinkish and reddish brown. The wood is also similar to white oak except that they are less pronounced in figure because of rays. The texture of the wood is coarse and straight-grained. Multiple finishing techniques can be applied to the wood and can be operated in a machine easily. It is a heavy and hard material with medium bending strength making it stiff and high pressures absorbent. This material is widely used in furniture, making doors, kitchen cabinets and paneling. The tree mainly grows in the USA and is directly imported to market to benefit the woody needs.
